As the northern neighbor to Daytona Beach, “Florida’s Festival Capital,” and an integral part of Florida’s “Fun Coast,” Ormond Beach is simply bursting with fabulous events throughout the entire year.
The 29th Annual Native American Festival was held this year in January at the Casements in Ormond Beach. With a dance arena, live music, Native American cuisine, story-telling, demonstrations and trading booths with hand crafted items, it was a festive celebration of Native American culture and a great place to learn about Native American traditions.
In April, Ormond Beach held its Celtic Festival at Rockefeller Gardens, complete with five stages of music, clans, Highland games, Celtic vendors, draft Guinness and more!
Then, throughout the summer months, Ormond Beach showcases its “Four Footed and Fanciful” Art Exhibit, a whimsical animal art show. In fact, summer in Ormond Beach is full of concerts, magic and comedy shows, puppy socials, wine pairing and so much more!
In November, it is time once again for the community celebration of all things water – the Ormond Beach Riverfest Seafood Festival, a free festival held on the banks of the Halifax. Come for fresh, local seafood and chef demonstrations, a kids fishing clinic, live bands, beer and even the Rubber Duckie 5k!
And, as all fun Florida destinations do, Ormond Beach revs it up over the holidays. There are holiday craft shows, ornament painting parties, Christmas galas, a holiday 5k challenge, a holiday parade and more!
