Honey Lime Fruit Salad
Serves: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pack California Sweet Strawberries
- 1/2 Jumbo Georgia Athena Cantaloupe
- 1 Jumbo Premium Honeycrisp Apple
- 1 Gala Apple
- 1 Evercrisp Apple
- 2 Red Delicious Apples
- 1 Dragon Fruit
- 2 California Plums
- 2 California Nectarines
- 1 Georgia or South Carolina Sweet & Juicy Peach
- 1 Ruby Red Grapefruit
- 1 Honeybell Orange
- 1 Navel Orange
- 1/2 Golden Ripe Pineapple
- 1 Large Sweet Mango
For the Honey-Lime Dressing:
- Juice of 4 Fresh Key Limes
- 2-3 tablespoons of honey (adjust to your liking)
Instructions:
- Thoroughly wash all the fruit.
- Cut the strawberries into halves or quarters if they’re large.
- Scoop out the cantaloupe and melon flesh with a melon baller, or cut into bite-size pieces.
- Core and cut all the apples into bite-sized pieces. You can peel them if you like, but the skins add color and nutrients.
- Peel the dragon fruit, then slice it in half. Slice into thin pieces or cube.
- Cut the plums and nectarines into thin slices.
- Cut the peach into thin slices.
- Peel the grapefruit and oranges, then section and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
- Cut the mango into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine all the fruit in a large bowl and gently mix.
For the dressing:
- Juice the key limes.
- Mix the lime juice and honey until well combined.
- Drizzle the dressing over the fruit salad and gently toss to combine.
