Ways to enjoy fresh Apples

Classic Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients:

1 apple (diced), 1 cup rolled oats, 2 cups water or milk, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup.

Instructions:

1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water or milk to a boil. Add oats and diced apple, stirring occasionally.
2. Reduce heat and simmer until the oats are soft, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in cinnamon and honey or maple syrup.
4. Serve hot, topped with additional apple slices if desired.

Quick Apple Salad

Ingredients:

2 apples (chopped), 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped), 1/4 cup dried cranberries, 2 tbsp feta cheese (crumbled), 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, Salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, walnuts, dried cranberries, and feta cheese.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
4. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.

Apple Peanut Butter Snack Bites

Ingredients: 1 apple (sliced), Peanut butter, Granola or chopped nuts, Chocolate chips or raisins (optional).

Instructions:
1. Spread peanut butter over each apple slice.
2. Sprinkle with granola or chopped nuts. Add chocolate chips or raisins if desired.
3. Enjoy as a quick snack or light dessert.
