The onset of summer brings with it a delightful array of juicy and delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables. There are bright red berries, sugary plums, refreshing melons and cantaloupe that just begs to be paired with paper thin slices of prosciutto. However, if you want to be the hit of the party or simply the hero of your house, consider making the easiest recipe for peach cobbler on the planet!
All you have to do is remember the one cup rule! Mix one cup of Bisquick, one cup of milk, one cup of butter (one stick) and a little splash of vanilla if you like. Line the bottom of an ungreased pan with it. Then top it all off with one cup of sugar mixed with your favorite fruit! Bake it at 375 degrees for around 45 minutes or so…just until the fruit sinks a little into that Bisquick deliciousness and the top turns golden brown.
You can use peaches, strawberries, blueberries, mixed fruit; or try pears or apples for a tasty winter treat! Most recently, I used close to two cups of diced mangoes for the topping and I just want to say, “Mmmmmm!”
