Make Fresh Garden Salsa in Minutes!

Salsa is delicious. It’s great for festive get-togethers, family movie nights, date nights and it is so easy to make…

All you need are four medium-sized tomatoes, a small onion, a cup of fresh cilantro, a seeded jalapeno if you like things spicy, three cloves of garlic, sea salt to taste and a little splash of lime juice to keep your salsa fresher longer and for a little zing!

Just rough-chop everything so it fits nicely into your food processor or blender. You may just want to mince your garlic first for optimal results.

Then simply pulse your magic mix until you reach the right consistency. You don’t want to blend it into a pasty consistency…just enough so that it is all mixed up and still a little chunky. If you are a lover of freshly made salsa and tortilla chips, then I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about!

And here’s more great news. Picking up your salsa ingredients can be a breeze too when you stop at any of the convenient Perrine’s Produce locations! Perrine’s always stocks beautiful, tasty, fresh produce and herbs and a whole bunch of other delicious items. Don’t forget the chips!

You can find Perrine’s Produce at 3826 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange, 120 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach and 720 South Dixie Freeway in New Smyrna Beach – the former Save-A-Lot location. Stop in and stay a while. It’ll make you want to salsa!
